You are amyetri, a corporeal spirit condemned to live a shadow life in the halfway realm of Purgatory. Bring an end to your suffering by initiating the Rites of Orpheus and defeat the chthonic deities that dominate your fractious path to Elysium.
Starting with nothing but a broken sword, players must collect danake, the blood-soaked currency of the underworld, to afford better equipment for confronting the powerful Dismal Lords that stand in their way to Elysium. However, the revenant creatures of Purgatory are also driven by the same hunger for danake, and falling to enemies means losing the hard-earned wealth. Players must decide whether to deposit their danake in the Pantheon before risking their lives on the path to Elysium or continue the run and potentially lose it all.
